Appreciate Appalacia! 1:00 PM  Enjoy a character performance of Sara "Ma" Semple portrayed by Jessica Michna, a Racine resident.  Michna is a professional storyteller who portrays Mary Todd Lincoln, Eleanor Roosevelt and Abigail Adams.  As Sari "Ma" Semple, Michna transports listeners back to the foothills of the mid-19th Century Appalachian Mountains.  The stories she tells blend the folklore and the gritty reality of life in the ridges and hollers of Appalachia.  This program is free and open to the public.  For more information contact Judy Rockwell at 262-763-7623 or email pburling@burlington.lib.wi.us
